This is a short photo collage showing the happiness the people of Garzal felt the day they received their titles!
On Wednesday April 4th the people of Garzal came to receive titles to their land.
After waiting for many years, waiting a few moments to hear a few speeches of recognition isn’t a problem.
Pastor Salvador Alcantara, leader of the Garzal/ Nueva Esperanza land struggle shares a few words. “what God promises, God fulfills.”
Jhenifer Mojica, INCODER’s Deputy Director of Rural Land, shares a few words of congratulations, “Your unity has been exemplary to all of us” she said, “Garzal is an emblematic case, one of the sixteen hand picked by President Santos that would receive immediate attention.”
Garzal resident Jose Chinchilla signs to receive his title.
Sealing the deal with a hand shake.
There is nothing in the world that could take this title away from him now.
Their smile speaks louder then words.
All the hard work has paid off.
